We are also an events and weddings venue, offering all catering requirements. Job Description: We are seeking a Sous Chef who has a passion for food, a creative flair, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head chef, taking on key responsibilities in the kitchen, and helping to lead the team to ensure smooth service, quality control, and consistency in every dish. Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily kitchen operations Oversee food preparation and ensure the highest quality standards Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support Contribute to menu development with creative input and seasonal ideas Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage food costs Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and seasonal ingredients Able to work in a fast-paced as well as slow-paced environment Excellent leadership and communication skills A passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences A team player with a positive attitude A flexible schedule, with availability on evenings and weekends Benefits: Competitive salary, based on experience Opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment Great working hours, Wednesday to Sunday approx 40 to 48 hours a week A supportive team atmosphere in a well-established restaurant If youre passionate about food and ready to take your career to the next level, wed love to hear from you!
