Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a finance team based in Doncaster. This role requires a proactive and hands-on professional who will be responsible for managing various accounting processes and providing key financial insights to support the business.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform bank reconciliations and purchased ledger reconciliation, including managing payment runs
  • Prepare and analyse weekly KPIs related to revenue and payroll costs
  • Collaborate with managers and administrators to drive commercial decisions that enhance profitability
  • Compile monthly management accounts packs and assist in the consolidation of management accounts
  • Manage and execute various ad hoc financial projects as required
  • Engage directly with local authorities and other stakeholders to address financial matters
  • Review and analyse overhead costs for management purposes
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for multiple entities
  • Produce cash flow projections and manage cash flow effectively
  • Handle company secretarial duties as needed
  • Ensure high attention to detail in all financial reporting and analysis
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines to ensure timely completion of all financial tasks


The Ideal Candidate:


  • Strong experience in financial accounting and management reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities
