R&D Manager

Vickerstock are partnering with our FMCG client - renowned for their commitment to authenticity and excellence on the appointment of R&D Manager to join the team based in Newtownards. As the successful R&D Manager you will have overall responsibility for the R&D Department playing a ley role in shaping and implementing R&D strategy, managing and developing R&D processes throughout the business. You will drive innovation, continuous product and process improvements and add value and service to customers in line with the business mission, vision and values. What's in it for you? What you will need to succeed: Project Management experience Manufacturing process experience Degree or HND in either - Food science/technology, Food nutrition and health, Food safety and quality management or equivalent industry experience at Manager level. Two years' experience in food preparation Natural flair and interest in cooking and experimenting with food Ability to manage key customer relationships and demonstrate commercial acumen Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't) Catering / food hygiene qualification.
