Head of Hard FMSalary £55000 - £65000 per annumLocation IpswichJob descriptionOpus People Solutions are seeking a Head of Hard FM in Ipswich on a full time, permanent basis.This Property and Design consultancy works with a range of clients on construction projects in the public and private sectors, from office buildings to schools to fire stations.You will be responsible for all aspects of hard facilities management, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and statutory compliance. You will have extensive knowledge of water hygiene, asbestos management, and other key compliance areas. In addition, you will have a proven track record of leading teams and managing contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.Key responsibilities of this position will include;Leadership: Manage and inspire the Hard FM team, providing clear direction and support to ensure effective service delivery.Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Oversee the development, implementation, and management of PPM schedules to ensure all assets are maintained in line with best practices and compliance requirements.Reactive Maintenance: Ensure timely and efficient response to all reactive maintenance requests, minimising downtime and disruption.Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including water hygiene, asbestos management, and other statutory obligations.Contractor Management: Oversee the performance of external contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and within agreed timelines and budgets.Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality or compliance.Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to Hard FM and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful collaboration.Benefits:25 days holiday + bank holidaysSalary sacrifice pension schemeHybrid workingFinancial support for further qualificationsDon't miss out, apply today!
