Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator

Our client has an opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator to join them on a 12 month contract basis. This will involve working on Commercial Off the Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging. Role: Semi-Skilled Calibration and Maintenance Operator Location: Bolton Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Clearance: BPSS required to start Hourly Rate: £23.91 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 What you'll be doing: Carry out calibration Electrical of COTS Equipment using METCAL Maintain calibration test records and update databases Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment Carry out Electrical Safety Check Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department Requirements: The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus. They should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable. BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred. Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment. Ability to work to instructions. Manual handling training.
