The ideal candidate will have experience in both the Professional Services and Software industry and will be familiar with the challenges of delivering projects to a large and diverse customer base.

Fundamentally this role is around ensuring we deliver high quality projects now, but always looking to the future and working with the Practice Director to develop a best-in-class delivery team across the Mid-Market product portfolio.

With direct reports of our Mid-Market Project Management Team Leads, we require a candidate who has strong expertise in project delivery and experience in executing roles successfully for Client Sponsor and Programme Director, with the ability to engage at Exec level with pro-active Steerco meeting engagement on our major programmes. Building and sustaining a strong PM team will be key with the ability to mentor the team leads on appropriately undertaking Steerco meetings and guiding our mid-tier projects to success. The role will entail a personal utilisation target of 50%, with active engagement with the sales team to ensure project governance is appropriately estimated for Project Success.

With a strong focus on quality, the Delivery Director will lead our governance in Mid-Market and align closely with the NDBS Enterprise team, ensuring we have a consistent approach to our projects, especially around quality & governance.

Working across Mid-Market delivery, this role will include responsibility for accurate forecasting, reporting on non-productive time spent on our implementations across the board, and will advise the Practice Director on improvement programmes, including automation within our deliveries.

The Head of Mid Market Delivery will work closely with all Practice and Team Leads around forecasted time, both billable & non billable and will play a key advisory role to the VP of Consulting around forecasting, GM & improvements.

Ultimately responsible for the health of our Mid-Market projects, you will ensure we have a Path to Green for any Amber & Red projects and will be responsible for lessons learned and improvements to our delivery methodologies, aligned with the Enterprise Team for learning and consistency.

Project governance across all our practices needs to be consistent, and you will create a strong governance template for all services delivery, assisted by our governance coordinator.
