Project: Technical Assistance to ARSO in Road SafetyThe general objective of this assignment is to help improve road safety in Africa through the production of better data and capacitation on state-of-the-art decision making. This is a long-standing commitment of the AU towards its Member States. The EU is a long-term partner of the AU on this topic.NTU International A/S, leading a strong international consortium, is proud to have been awarded the Technical Assistance to ARSO in Road Safety project.Keep updated and follow us at https://www.linkedin.com/company/ntu-international for more information on our projects.Position: Key Expert 3 - Road Safety ExpertAs Road Safety Expert, your responsibilities will be:Support the AU ARSO work program in relation to all documentation preparation, both internally and externally.Liaise and work closely with EU, WHO and other regional observatories as well to institutions collecting road safety-related data to contribute with AU ARSO evidence to other publications deemed of essential value by AU ARSO Steering CommitteeAssignment duration: 200 person-days in total (50x4 person-days per year)Qualifications and skills:Master’s degree in public health, engineering, or a relevant, directly related discipline; In its absence, equivalent relevant professional experience of minimum of 7 years,Knowledge in remote-work collaborative toolsSpecific professional experience:Working experience with African Union would be considered an assetLanguage skills:At least level C1 in EnglishAt least B1 in FrenchKnowledge of other languages spoken in Africa such as Arabic, Swahili, Zulu, etc. would be considered an assetIf you are interested in this position, please apply and upload your CV.
