As a key player in the property management sector, our client is focused on providing a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming community for all. They are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Property/Maintenance Manager to join their team and play a vital role in their ongoing success.


As the Property/Maintenance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client s park homes operations, ensuring the smooth management of the entire community. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing maintenance tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering positive relationships with residents. This role requires someone who is adept at creating and implementing systems, thrives in a problem-solving environment, and is comfortable working from the office.

Property Management:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the park homes, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.

Address resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.

Oversee the check-in and check-out process for residents, conduct thorough property inspections, and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Maintain organized records of all maintenance activities, property updates, and resident interactions

  • Maintenance Management: Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs to maximize the longevity of park homes and communal areas.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and property issues, coordinating with contractors as necessary.

    • Troubleshoot complex maintenance challenges and provide effective long-term solutions.

    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • System & Process Development:
    • Design, implement, and refine systems and processes for property inspections, maintenance, and resident services.

    • Establish detailed procedures for regular maintenance tasks to ensure consistency and high standards.

    • Work closely with the management team to streamline operations and enhance the overall resident experience.

    • Maintain a database of reliable contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient service delivery.

  • Team Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth communication and effective resolution of any challenges.

    • Provide guidance and support to other team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

    • Act as a key point of contact for contractors and oversee their work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.

    • Deliver regular training sessions to staff on maintenance procedures and resident service best practices.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in property and/or maintenance management, ideally within a park homes or residential property setting.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement practical solutions.

Systems-Oriented: Proven ability to create and implement systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, contractors, and team members.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensuring all property management and maintenance activities are completed to the highest standard.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance best practices.

Driver s License: A valid UK driving license is required, as occasional travel between sites may be necessary.
