Job Title: Mathematics Teacher Location: Milton Keynes Contract Type: Temp to Perm Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 - UPS3) Hours: Full-time, Standard Teaching Hours with Full Teaching Responsibilities Ofsted Rating: Good (2022) Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our school in Milton Keynes. This role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team following an initial temporary period. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching with a non-marking approach, prioritizing feedback over traditional marking methods. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of students across various ability levels. Provide meaningful feedback to students rather than marking their work, encouraging independent learning and progress. Monitor student progress and use data to inform instruction. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for learning Mathematics. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and curriculum delivery. Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and staff to support student achievement.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, with experience in teaching Mathematics. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required for temp-to-perm roles). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire students and cultivate a passion for Mathematics.
