Senior Planner or Associate Manchester City Centre This is an opportunity to join an independent, commercially focused and award winning consultancy. This consultancy work on a variety of projects including housing, commercial, urban regeneration, strategic land, mixed-use and leisure clients. This consultancy has worked on some of the most high-profile and complex planning projects in the North West and has been recognised for its achievements in the industry. They are a social team who enjoy team activities and enjoy regularly attending networking industry recognised networking events. Key responsibilities: Support planning application submissions and manage technical consultant teams. Assist with materials for Local Plan Examinations, including drafting statements and attending sessions. Conduct site appraisals and provide planning advice. Offer strategic advice and analysis for major projects and policy development, including creating frameworks and masterplans. Communicate with clients, local authorities, and consultants via calls, emails, and meetings. Prepare documents for strategic site promotion, including representations, masterplans, and development statements. The right person: An experienced Town Planner with MRTPI chartership or working towards. Excellent analytical abilities and strong written communication skills are crucial.
