Senior Bid Coordinator
Are you an experienced Senior Bid Coordinator looking to make a tangible impact within a forward-thinking environmental consultancy? We’re offering a dynamic role where you'll lead winning bid strategies for our Advisory Services team. We can offer flexible working arrangements with a hybrid role based ideally out of our Runcorn (Preston Brook) office
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver on area targets and objectives for the Bids team, including maintaining our 50% win rate.
- Develop and implement a bid strategy to support growth, collaborating with the New Business team to target in-area opportunities.
- Identify bid opportunities using information from tender alerts, emails, and other sources.
- Develop winning themes and strategies for bids.
- Lead key meetings, including bid/no-bid decisions, kick-off sessions, quality and price reviews.
- Review and refine pricing and content produced for bids and proposals.
- Attend bid interviews and clarification meetings, where applicable.
- Conduct debriefs and lessons learned sessions to ensure continuous improvement and feedback to the Bids team lead and Directors.
- Maintain and update bid resources, including response libraries, CVs, case studies, and references.
- Keep the bids horizon updated with information from tender notifications and business intelligence sources.
- Support proposals and quotations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in bid writing and the coordination process, ideally within sectors such as environmental consultancy, infrastructure, or construction.
- Knowledge of the UK Environmental Consultancy market is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Strong customer management and dynamic communication skills (written, verbal, and visual/presentation).
