Quantity Surveyor (Water)

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Water Location: Reading Salary: Up to £60,000 Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a background in the Water Utilities sector? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading engineering and maintenance provider, offering long-term career growth and the chance to work on impactful Water projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage commercial administration tasks including raising and closing Early Warning and Variation notices. Estimate, price, and negotiate Variation quotations. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, working closely with other departments. Produce Applications for Payment, cost and value reports, and support cash flow and finance processes. Handle subcontract management, cost analysis, and identify margin improvement opportunities. Experience & Qualifications: Essential:Experience in a similar role within contracting, with experience in the Water Utilities sector and familiarity with NEC3/4 and/or IChemE contracts. Desirable: Background with CEMAR, SAP experience, and knowledge in dispute resolution. Qualifications: Engineering or commercial qualification required; degree or membership in a professional institution (MRICS or similar) is a plus.
