HealthTech Startup Tech Lead Hybrid - 3 days in London, 2 days WfH Up to £120,000 equity full benefits About the business A specialist within the HealthTech space, our client is on a high-growth journey after a $20m Series B raise. They are focussing on digitising access to healthcare services and products, working on targeting people who are resistant to going down traditional treatment routes. They have a range of diagnostic tools, services, treatments and blood test services to offer data-driven health solutions. About the role After a company acquisition, they are building out a new development team to work on integrating the services into the wider company ecosystem. There will be a focus on aligning the product operations, creating a large range of new product features and optimising the offering to ensure higher customer retention and increase access to the services As the Tech Lead, you will be remaining hands-on with the codebase, whilst managing a team of 4 - 2 Backend Engineers and 2 Frontend Engineers. Working in collaboration with an experienced Product Owner, you will: Together with the team, turn product ideas into delivery plans, and then into successful product launches Contribute to your team’s delivery with hands on work - from architectural design, to implementation & testing and deployment & operations Oversee the delivery of high-quality, scalable and maintainable code, taking ultimate ownership of technical delivery of this key core product Establish processes for effective leadership of a high-performing team, implementing 1-2-1's, performance reviews, standups and retro leading. About you 7 years experience in software engineering, at least 3 years in a leadership position A BSc or above in Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent industry experience Ability to lead a team of 4 Make well thought out system design and architectural decisions Work in a high-paced startup environment, with a significant amount of ownership and accountability Experience leading a team of multi-disciplinary Engineers No specific technology requirements, but a good understanding of both backend and frontend engineering is mandatory HealthTech Startup Tech Lead Hybrid - 3 days in London, 2 days WfH Up to £120,000 equity full benefits
