Warehouse Supervisor

DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project. Responsibilities: • Oversee the overall operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of materials and equipment. • Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and manage the procurement of materials to prevent shortages or excess. • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to construction site. • Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols. • Inspect incoming materials addressing any discrepancies or defects. • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, deliveries, and returns, and prepare regular reports for management. • Organise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and improve workflow efficiency. Qualifications: • A relevant vocational qualification, such as an NVQ in Warehousing and Storage, may be beneficial. • Significant experience in warehouse management or logistics, within the MEP construction industry. • Prior supervisory or management experience is essential. • CSCS site qualifications. • Forklift Operator License (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR) for operating warehouse equipment safely.
