We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant within the Financial Control team. This role will be responsible for key elements of financial control and governance as well as providing support and financial analysis to the relevant budget holders as capex business partner. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Financial Control: Preparation and review of periodic and quarterly key balance sheet reconciliations. Complete the quarterly MACSAC (internal control checklist). Review of NI VAT return to ensure accuracy and completeness. Fixed Assets: Work with stakeholders to compile the budget and forecasts for capital expenditure and depreciation. Lead the Capital Acquisition Request (CAR) process for the business with management and Budget holders. Reporting periodically on capex spend and providing analytical commentary to management. Provide support to Capex budget holders on business cases and payback calculations etc. Working capital management: Prepare the budget and forecasts for working capital, cash and associated KPIs. Provide periodic reporting on same including analytical commentary. Intercompany Reconciliation: Reconciliation of intercompany accounts, including resolution and root cause analysis of any variances. Support continuous improvement initiatives in relation to intercompany. Other responsibilities: Ensure direct report is supported to deliver in their role and achieve objectives. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation and seek opportunities to optimise core finance business processes. The successful candidate will possess the following: Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2+ years post qualification experience. Have proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a varied workload. Highly numeric & technical with a strong attention to detail. A strong system orientation (Oracle R12 experience desirable but not essential) with focus on enhancing processes and controls. Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with an ability to build relationships across functions. Self -motivated and ability to work under pressure.??????? ???????
