Finance Manager / Senior Manager

A growing and highly prestigious investment management business is seeking a Group Finance Manager, for a wide ranging and hands on role working as part of their sociable and outgoing Finance team. The business operates in traditional asset classes and has gone through a period of professionalisation in the past few years, putting in new systems, processes and transforming Finance into a modern value-adding powerhouse of knowledge. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the role will broadly oversee: Internal financial and management reporting, covering monthly financial control responsibilities as well as input into the quarterly management accounts and Board pack Group external reporting Point of contact for interim and year end audits Support to the FP&A Manager around budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Indirect management of junior members of the Finance team Involvement in Finance projects Your background: Formal accounting qualifications - ACA/CA, ACCA or equivalent - and probably at least a year or two PQE Degree educated or equivalent This could be a role for either someone working in a reporting based role in financial services OR someone looking for a first move out of Audit (with a relevant asset management or FS client base) Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in a range of tasks, covering routine reporting work through to more exciting ad hoc project assignments Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident in front of internal and external stakeholders Continuous improvement mindset Central London location and hybrid working 3 days in the office. Salary on offer is in the region of £65-75,000 base plus bonus and benefits. Visa sponsorship is not on offer and full unrestricted UK work rights are essential.
