Interim Ward Manager (B8) Contract: 6 months Location: Leeds, Yorkshire Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 pro rota + benefits Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours - rotational shift pattern Pulse is privileged to be working alongside one of the UK's palliative and bereavement support charity. We are looking for a strong and dynamic Interim Ward Manager to provide exceptional leadership to our client's hospice service, the ideal candidate will have proven clinical leadership experience and who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire our dedicated team to deliver the highest standards of palliative care. Oversee the day-to-day management of the hospice, ensuring that patients receive compassionate, dignified care. Drive improvements in care quality, patient safety, and staff wellbeing. Act as a role model and mentor, promoting best practices across the service.Required expertise: Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, ideally within palliative, end-of-life or acute care. People performance management experience Excellent communication and decision-making skills. A compassionate and resilient approach to managing a complex, emotionally challenging environment.
