The Role We are seeking experienced Security Risk Management Consultants who have a demonstrable history of designing and conducting comprehensive risk assessments in accordance with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, specifically API 780 and API 781. This critical role involves the production and execution of formal risk assessments for both onshore and offshore infrastructure projects across the Middle East and other strategic locations worldwide, bith individually and as a team member. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed security risk assessments as per API 780 and API 781 standards. Develop and implement security measures and protocols tailored to onshore and offshore oil and gas infrastructure. Provide expert advice and solutions to minimize risks associated with operational security threats. Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of security risk management are addressed and integrated into project plans. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and security practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of risk assessments. Requirements Proven experience in security risk management within the oil and gas sector. Strong proficiency with API 780 and API 781 standards for security risk assessment. Ability to travel extensively to project sites, including in the Middle East. Excellent analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to queries from groups of managers, clients, and other stakeholders. A relevant bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in security risk management are highly preferred.
