Technical Superintendent

Working as a Technical Superintendent with both dry and wet vessels can be a challenge but it can also be refreshing and help you develop an edge in your technical knowledge. It can be hard if you have been a Technical Superintendent solely with Tankers for years but if you have wanted to take a step forward and add to your skillset as you develop your career as a Technical Superintendent and move toward the next step up. Sometimes, this just isn’t possible with your current employer but fear not, this time you can. Does this mean you’ll be in the office for 5 days every week plus evenings? Nope, you will only be in the office 3 days per week allowing you to enjoy an extra 188 hours at home with loved ones rather than spending an extra couple of hours per day commuting. You will be working with a mix of Bulkers and Tankers, therefore a technical tanker or bulk background is fine for this role. You will be working with an experienced technical team from across the world in the Glasgow office with some major clients so experience within ship management and managing relationships with owners, fleet teams, and multinational crews is going to be essential.
