Fox Construction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join our clients fast pace, busy team, covering sites in and around the South Coast. This company specialises mainly in commercial groundworks rather than residential. Key Responsibilities - Set up, co-ordinate and implement the site offices, canteens, and other welfare arrangements. - Write method statements for all temporary site arrangements as required by Site Manager. - Comply with all aspects of construction phase Health and Safety plans regarding all temporary site arrangements. - Supervise all aspects of groundworks as required. - Check materials and labour are on site, to ensure works are maintained to the highest standard. - Ensure there is a safe system of work in place, and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time. - Report and liase with the Contract Manager at all times. - Issue, monitor and check day-to-day work of groundworkers & sub-contractors. - Compile daily diary and photographic weekly report. - Ensure compliance to the Safety Responsibility Statements - Review and signing off Operatives time sheets Role Requirements: - CSCS - CITB SMSTS Certificate - First Aid at work - Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred not essential) - Full Driving Licence - Minimun of 3 years Site management experience with a strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks.
