CDM Principal Designer

CDM Principal Designer Salary Package (including car allowance): £45-60K + Other Benefits - depending on relevant experience Location: Full-time based in the Bracknell office no WFH option The Role Are you a skilled and experienced CDM Principal Designer with a deep understanding of construction processes and a passion for health and safety? Do you hold membership in a relevant professional institution? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a specialist construction consultancy with a strong focus on CDM and Health & Safety, looking to expand our team with a dedicated CDM Principal Designer. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, providing expert guidance throughout all project stages. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Principal Designer, overseeing and coordinating the pre-construction phase and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations. Engage with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure that all designs comply with health and safety requirements. Conduct risk assessments and provide advice to mitigate potential hazards. Regularly attend site visits and coordinate safety measures across multiple projects. About You: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CDM Principal Designer. Current membership of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS minimum; CMaPS preferred). Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction processes. Excellent communication and IT skills. Flexibility for travel and overnight stays when required. A full, clean UK Driving Licence. We also welcome candidates with lesser experience for a Principal Designer role, provided they demonstrate the right skills and enthusiasm. Why Join Us?
