We're seeking a dedicated Site Operations Manager to join our clients growing team and play a pivotal role in achieving the company's objectives.As the Site Operations Manager, you will oversee all on-site plant, equipment, operations, and personnel, ensuring smooth and productive operations. Your role will involve providing management and supervision of site-based activities, optimising productivity, and achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).ABOUT YOU: Experience of working with regulatory permits, health & safety guidelines and site operating plans.Experience in landfill, quarrying and/or civil engineering.Leads by example, presenting a positive and professional image including punctuality, and reliability etc.Understands and plays to own strengths with confidence.Self-motivated, takes personal responsibility for making things happenWelcomes feedback and is eager to learn/develop own skills, knowledge, and behaviour.Displays assertiveness and persistence by reacting positively to setbacks.Able to manage conflict and maintain collaborative team-workingSITE OPERATIONS MANAGER: KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning and resourcing for long term and short-term site objectives.Execute quarry and waste management plans.Deliver a safe and controlled plan delivery according to agreed/legislated plan and methodology, within agreed timescales.Have a flexible approach to site operations and be able to adapt and respond to customer needs which may require changes to planned activities and new approaches to working.Manage plant defect reporting, minimising plant downtime.Completion of all site administration, including weekly costing information, purchase order submission, payroll, productivity reporting and compliance checklists.Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and administration completed in accordance with company or external requirements, this includes but is not limited to, environmental, health and safety, HR and costing information.HR Management including, managing holidays, absenteeism, recruitment, reviews, performance management, training, and briefings.Responsible for maintaining site housekeeping standards and infrastructure.Manage all aspects of site compliance including environmental compliance.Responsible for site safety and security.
