Senior Operations Analyst - Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund - Up to 100k base + Lucrative bonus – Varied progression

A multi-billion dollar AUM, global multi-strategy Hedge Fund, are looking to make a newly created operations / trade support hire to support the expansion of the firm’s rapidly expanding European business. Our client has achieved exponential growth over the past 5yrs, including significant expansion in London – the firm are launching a new European strategy/fund in H1 2025, with the expectation that the new hire will take ownership of this from a trade support perspective. BAU operations responsibilities take up a large portion of the candidate’s time, albeit typically oversight / analysis as the firm outsource most-hands-on tasks, with the remainder of the remit focused on project work, which combines a focus on the strategy buildout, more broader operations infrastructure development / improvements (the hire will have the opportunity to develop strong coding skills to help lead ongoing process automation initiatives) + ad-hoc work specific to the newly launched Investment desk that you closely support & face off to. As a senior member of the operations team, the hire will consistently be liaising with / facing off to various internal and external stakeholders (including PB’s and external service providers), managing relationships specific to the book that you support. The firm offer varied progression – whilst the preferred route is for the hire to become ‘operations manager’ and hire 1-2 juniors beneath him/her, global operations team members over the past few years have moved into a variety of different functions within the firm including trader assistant (and subsequently trader positions), COO support, business change and treasury positions. Please note that there are also relocation opportunities, to the firm’s other global offices. The role can pay up to £100k base salary, and a good performer should expect up to a 50% bonus in their first year, with the typical operations team member earning a 40-75% bonus potential.
