In the role you will maintain the MySQL databases servers including security, back-up, reporting and recovery procedures. You will also perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Key responsibilities: Responsible for all functions associated with maintenance of MySQL databases servers including security, back-up, reporting and recovery procedures.Install, configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout, migration and upgrades.Implementation and release of database.Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.Refine and automate regular processes like Change Request / Incident / Service Request, track issues, and document changes.Troubleshooting Database Crash.Your ProfileKey skills/knowledge/experience: Have hands-on experience supporting MY SQL Server, Strong analytical skills for problem solving database related issues, Troubleshooting & Performance tuning.Thorough knowledge of data security Setup and Configuration of High availability concepts like Replication, Cluster, Group Replication.Strong understanding of DR Drill activityNeed to know on how to create Incidents, change request, Service request and perform the RCA for problem ticket.Rewards & Benefits:TCS is consistently voted a Top Employer in the UK and globally.
