Hardware Test Engineer

Job Title: Hardware Electronics Test EngineerContract Duration: 7~8 MonthsLocation: Brentwood, UK (Hybrid Working)Job Responsibilities:Responsible for hardware testing, producing test reportsMaintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency.Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation and recommending further investigation if required.Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new productsRequired Experience:Engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skillsExperience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital multi-meter, spectrum analysers.Background in Electronics.Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, Safety.Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platformsAn understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing.UK driver's license and own car to commute to off-site test houses.Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (non-essential)Experience in summarizing technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on audience (non-essential)Some experience in managing a test workstack (non-essential)
