We are looking for a great Junior Sous Chef to join Harts Group as part of our exceptional culinary team at Barrafina Restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, London

The guests eat and drink on a beautiful marble-topped bar where and watch the chefs at work. The front of house teams work around the bar, creating an energetic and uniquely enjoyable service.
The cuisine is authentic and exceptional, our Chefs create a new menu daily based on the freshest produce that comes through the door.
Barrafina also hosts a quarterly event, Barrafina Invita showcasing the exceptional culinary talent from all over Spain and the rest of the world.
The Junior Sous Chef Role
2 years experience in a similar role within a high volume, quality led restaurant kitchen
Interest and love for Spanish food and culture
Excellent knowledge of our menus, ingredients, allergens and adherence to all Food Safety and hygiene standards
Good understanding of ordering & wastage, stock management, Chef rotas
Understanding of flavours balance, a passion for food and your own development is a must
Love for the hospitality industry, Spanish food and culture
Ability to run all sections of the kitchen including the pass when needed
Strong team ethic showing respect for your colleagues
Positively train and lead a team of junior chefs
Good level of English language
A passion for your own development is a must
