Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to support Showroom and retail partners across the Northeast and Yorkshire and Humberside. You will be selling various types of bathroom products and other plumbing materials into retail showrooms and merchant showrooms. The role reports to the Sales Director. It’s a challenging role and has a unique opportunity to add real value to the business. You’ll be responsible for the sales and merchandising of products in the retail sector. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills. The role involves visiting retail outlets to an agreed journey plan, implementing action plans to agreed objectives, and using your own initiative and enthusiasm to generate extra sales. About the Person We are looking for an enthusiastic person with experience in field sales, ideally from the KBB or plumbing sector, but this could represent an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career in a global business. You must have an excellent eye for detail and work with a high standard of customer service in mind. You should have good IT skills. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build credibility across all areas of the business and build working relationships with customers. We’re looking for a team player, but one who enjoys working on their own initiative and taking ownership of issues.
