Gallery Senior Art Technician

Senior Gallery Art Technician, Central London, £30,000 - £40,000 + benefits

Our Client, a leading international Art Gallery specialising in modern and contemporary Art has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, proactive and dedicated Senior Art Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Hanging artwork using a variety of installation methods on various wall compositions
• Handling all artwork and installations carefully and with due consideration
• Packing and unpacking artwork for onward shipping, including crates
• Stock management and administration
• Delivering and installing art to Client sites
• Gallery appearance and daily maintenance/re-hanging as needed

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will have several years' experience as an Art Technician, ideally in a Gallery or Auction House. You must be qualified to work within the UK and must be able to travel internationally to carry out installations.

A Driving licence is extremely beneficial but not essential.

Knowledge of, and qualifications in, using forklift trucks, WAV machines and other warehouse machinery is useful.
