In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that students remain focused and productive during lessons when their regular teacher is absent. Key Responsibilities for a Cover Supervisor: Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students follow the lesson plans provided. Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment, addressing any behavior issues promptly and effectively. Support students in completing their work, offering guidance and assistance as needed. Communicate with teaching staff regarding the progress and conduct of students during cover sessions. Assist with additional school activities, such as exam invigilation and small group support, when required.Qualifications and Skills: Experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and ensure students stay on task. Flexible, adaptable, and capable of handling different classroom situations.
