A lovely new vacancy has just come in with a leading and well known PC Systems and Gaming brand. You'll focus on marketing to the retail channel, working with the likes of Costco, AO and Shop Direct.
About the role: - Channel Marketing Specialist
This is a creative, strategic and specialist position, which requires a level of autonomy and team work.
As Channel Marketing Specialist you will: -
- Set the marketing strategy with your retail partners for the product category
- Own all the marketing for a set product category within the above selected etail/retail channels.
- Create , present, and execute quarterly channel marketing plans, working closely with the Accounts Managers aligned to this category.
- Coordinate the launch of new products into your selected retail channels, online and in-store.
- Develop on-site and off-site acquisition tactics that drive interest in the products within your selected channels.
- Build and nurture account relationships at various levels and roles.
- Liaise with the in-house design team on the creation of marketing assets to fulfil marketing plans.
About you: - Channel Marketing Specialist
This is a fantastic role for anyone currently in a marketing position working for a competing brand or IT hardware/ Consumer electronics vendor, or IT/CE Distributor who is marketing to retail/etail. We'll additionally consider anyone marketing to VAR or Reseller partners.
You'll need at least 3 years marketing experience within the IT/ CE channel or FMCG and have a strong understanding of working with partners.
You'll be highly creative, able to work to tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with various teams across the marketing department.
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
