Mason James are partnered with an industry leading engineering business specialising in the design, build and installation of bespoke factory automation systems and machinery. We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join the business on a full time, perminent basis.

Salary circa £30,000

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00

The role:

Working within a small team we need to provide additional support for the metal fabrication side of the business, this will include welding (both MIG & TIG) along with operating and running a brake press. There will also be the opportunity to develop your skills further and learn how to operate and run our CNC s & Laser.

Key responsibilities:

  • Being the key person for safe, yet efficient running of a brake press
  • Being the key person for welding
  • Interpreting technical drawings/documents
  • Ensuring you consistently and accurately log projects
  • Completing necessary admin tasks in sync with production

Experience:

  • Experience of fabriactor shop environments and processes
  • Fully competent welder and fabricator
  • Experienced user of brake press
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
