Sales Manager - Drainage Location: Essex Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus commission On-Target Earnings (OTE): £100,000+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Contract Type: Permanent, with commission-based pay Benefits: Casual dress, company events, pension scheme, free parking on-site Our client who are a drainage and plumbing company based in Essex, are currently seeking an ambitious Sales Manager to contribute to their continued growth. They operate mainly in the commercial sector within a 100-mile radius of London, with plans for future expansion. The Role: As the Sales Manager, you will be essential to driving the company's sustainable growth. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, maintaining current ones, and expanding our business reach. Your leadership will be crucial in managing and growing a small, effective sales team. Key Responsibilities: Lead a sales team of up to 4 Business Development Managers (BDMs) Hold weekly meetings with BDMs and provide monthly reports to the Director Actively participate in monthly Board meetings Recruit and interview new BDMs Drive new business development, including cold calling and client relationship management Oversee the CRM system and ensure accurate sales activity records Prepare account documentation and client information packs Attend sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client entertainment events as required Work closely with both the sales and operations teams Essential Requirements: Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the plumbing, drainage, or construction sectors (advantageous but not essential) Excellent communication skills at all business levels Experience with HubSpot (preferred) Self-motivated with strong management capabilities High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online portals Ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent references Full driving licence Proven success in a similar role Business acumen, strong organisational skills, and the ability to delegate and motivate What We Offer: Competitive earnings with a generous commission structure 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays Flexible working hours to support work-life balance Excellent career progression and personal development opportunities Casual dress code and a dynamic company culture  If you are interested in the vacancy, please send your CV to (url removed) or call Brad on (phone number removed)
