Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £(phone number removed) to £(phone number removed) DOE+ Pension 5%, O/T Location: Great Yarmouth Sector: Food manufacturing Shift: 2 days (6am to 6pm), 2 nights (6pm to 6am) then 4 rest days Our client is a firm with growth plans within its manufacturing facility in Great Yarmouth. They require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work with the engineering team on PPM schedules and reactive maintenance. The client is investing massively in its manufacturing facilities which means getting good engineers is crucial to the long-term goals of the business. The site is older than they would like but clean and functional. You will work at the sister site in Norwich from time to time. That site is very new and rarely has major issues, but the PPMs must be done for this to work properly. WE seek a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who can turn his hand to anything The ideal Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer main skills would be a 70/30 or 60/40 split or vice versa and will need a good background in agriculture or large capital equipment, someone who has the curiosity to seek out and rectify issues with machines. An engineer who can logically work out problems, reverse engineer, use lathes, and make their own parts (if needed). Deal with new PPMs, keep H&S paramount on all undertakings. Work fantastically within a team and not be afraid to speak up about what they need to carry out the job. * Candidates must be apprentice trained or time served with qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering. * 2391 test & inspect. * Vibrational analysis & Cell testing * Good organisation and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines in a fast-paced high-volume environment would be advantageous. * In-house training given (career progression with courses) * This role is commutable from a 25-mile radius.
