Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – West Midlands Salary: up to £40,000 I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a privately owned construction company. Our client has an office based in Dudley but the business works across West Midlands. The business specialises in Healthcare, Commerical, Education & Living Sectors. The role is site-based, although all schemes in West Midlands would require no more than regional transport. You would be supporting a highly experienced commercial lead. Key responsibilities: * Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope * Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders * Produce and maintain up to date procurement schedules * Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments Requirements: * BSc in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or other equivalent * Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes If are interested and would like to see a job description or have additional information on this role please don’t hesitate to contact me
