MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join a housing association. My client have stock in and around the Ealing & West London Areas. The position is primarily site-based, with occasional office attendance at the Ealing Gateway office. My client are offering an hourly rate of £40p/h Umbrella. Role Purpose: Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies Support the delivery of the planned, cyclical and maintenance programmes and services and Asset Management Strategy. Work proactively with residents and colleagues to ascertain programme priorities and service needs Play a key role in developing customer expectations and other key stakeholders involvement in a programme of projects. Understand, analyse and act upon all aspects of customer feedback and performance relating to your programme delivery through the use of available management information reporting tools Pro-actively ensure that any underperformance or service failure is addressed to ensure that programme targets and operational KPI's are met: using legal and contractual knowledge to resolve issues Liaise with external organisations as appropriate Responsible for health & safety issues within the responsibility of the post [e.g. CDM regs; site safety; risk management of staff whilst on site and conducting surveys] Knowledge of construction, engineering and compliance standards.Key Accountabilities: Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies To undertake stock condition surveys on the organisation's properties and communal areas, collecting information with regards to stock condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components Carry out stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys, Fire Risk Assessments and DDA audits on internal and external domestic properties. Advise on conditions relating to property condition, providing solutions to property issues and informing future programmes of works. Carry out health and safety surveys in line with HHSRS. Carry out other surveys, e.g. DDA surveys and fire risk assessments, to update the Association's asset register and assist the Asset Management directorate in preparing schedules for service charges for renewal, repair and maintenance. Upload survey data onto the Asset Management database providing management information and reports as necessary.Title: Stock Condition Surveyor Hourly Rate: £40p/h Umbrella Location: Ealing, West London
