Architectural Technician

My client is a dynamic and growing architectural practice in Chelmsford, seeking a Junior Architectural Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career and gain exposure to a wide range of interesting and diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior technicians and architects in the production of technical drawings and design specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations.
• Collaborate with the design team, clients, and external consultants.
• Engage in site visits and liaise with contractors as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: HND / BSc in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience: Ideally, 1+ years of experience working within an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• A keen eye for detail and an eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
