YouTube Channel Growth Manager

YouTube Channel Manager: £35 - £45K base + benefits (dependent on experience) Remote (Candidates must already be UK residents due to labour and tax laws) My client is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to creating entertaining YouTube content in the factual content space. We are seeking a creative and results-driven YouTube Channel Manager. The ideal candidate will be an expert in growing communities on YouTube, driving video views and engagement as well as all aspects of YouTube data, analytics, SEO, metadata, thumbnail strategy/design, and content creation using existing assets and original content. Deep knowledge of GoogleAdSense and how it can be boosted with increased watch-times is an essential skill for applicants. Key Responsibilities: Content & Audience Growth / Monetisation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube content strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and driving greater viewership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand identity across all content. Ideate ideas for video concepts Excellent knowledge of how to increase watch time and video views and also drive Google AdSense revenue YouTube Thumbnail Design Strategy: Conceptualised and implemented effective thumbnail design strategies to increase click-through rates (CTRs) and video visibility. Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices to keep thumbnails visually appealing and engaging. Video Analytics and Optimisation: Utilise YouTube analytics tools to assess video performance, audience demographics, and viewer behaviour. Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content for better engagement and reach. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of analytics, metadata, SEO, reporting dashboards etc: Keyword expertise to enhance video discoverability and ranking on YouTube. Implement SEO best practices to improve video visibility in search results and related content recommendations. Audience Growth and Engagement: Foster audience interaction and community growth by analysing data and creating suitable strategies to drive future engagement with the channel Implement strategies to increase video views, subscriber count, likes, shares, and overall engagement metrics. Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication: Work closely with the creative team, video production team, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive content strategy. Collaborate with influencers and partners for cross-promotion opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a YouTube Channel Marketing Manager or a similar role. Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, analytics, and SEO best practices. Proficiency in graphic design tools for creating engaging thumbnails. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving mindset and creative thinker Additional Skills: Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques. Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making. Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging platforms. Ability to analyse competitor channels and market trends.
