Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYS Teaching Assistant)Location: South East Leeds, Kippax.Start Date: ASAPJob Description:Protocol Education are recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant to working within a primary school in Kippax.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support young children in their crucial early years of education, helping to foster their development in a supportive and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and educational activities that support the EYFS curriculum.Support individual and group learning, catering to a range of abilities and needs.Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.Monitor and report on children's progress, providing feedback to the class teacherEncourage positive behaviour and promote social, emotional, and educational development.Always ensure the safety and well-being of the children. Requirements: Previous experience working with young children, preferably within an EYFS setting.A passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.An understanding of safeguarding practices.Relevant qualifications in early years education or childcare are desirable but not essential. Contract Overview: Full Time Role Monday - Friday, in Leeds Term Time.Working hours 8:30am - 3:30pm.Temporary to Permanent Contract available.
