Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for supporting students in their educational journey? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our team. About our School: Our partnered school is a special educational needs school based in the Solihull area. They currently have around 95 pupils on the school roll and offer a safe and welcoming educational environment to pupils aged between 4 – 16 years. With an OFSTED rating of Good, the school aims to nurture pupils by building trusting relationships, raising self-esteem and supporting them to engage with learning. The school ensures that staff receive appropriate training and that pupils with additional needs are well supported in the classroom. Responsibilities: * Student Support: To work closely with teachers to provide individualised support to students, assisting with both their academic and personal development. * Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons, encouraging a positive learning environment for all students. * Small Group Work: Conduct small group activities to strengthen learning objectives and provide additional assistance to students as needed. * Behavioural management: Assist in managing classroom behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies to create a safe and respectful learning space. * Communication: create and maintain effective communication with teachers, parents and other members of the school community to support the development of each student. Requirements: To be successful in this role you will need: * Enhanced DBS: A current Enhanced DBS check, underlining your commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of our students. * QTS or Relevant Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualifications or relevant education qualifications, with experience within a school setting. * Team Player: A collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively within a team to support the diverse needs of students.
