HR Advisor - Regional

Up to £40k DOE

A leading, national business are looking for a Regional HR Advisors to support 9 branches across the Midlands and North region. You will be responsible for supporting the Head of HR, as the first port of call for staff within the business, providing a generalist HR support and advisory service. You ll be covering branches from Warrington, Nottingham through to Kettering, Milton Keynes and Gloucester.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Advising, coaching, and guiding Managers through the full employee lifecycle
  • Support managers through absence, performance, conduct, grievance, and capability issues
  • Ensure managers are aware of policy, principles and processes and signpost relevant information and guidance
  • Building good relationships within the business
  • Organising all aspects of the family-friendly processes for staff including maternity, paternity, adoption, parental and unpaid leave, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Responding efficiently to ad-hoc HR related queries on a day-to-day basis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in Human Resources in a HR Advisor or Employee Relations Advisor role
  • Experience handling a variety of Employee Relations issues, preferably with a blue-collar workforce.
  • CIPD qualified
  • Knowledge of UK Employment law
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all levels
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion

My client is offering an annual salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience.
