Switchgear Engineer

Are you a Switchgears Engineer focused within the automotive domain?

Expleo is currently recruiting for a Switchgear Engineer with experience in the automotive domain, based in Warwickshire. This role offers flexibility, allowing candidates to choose between a permanent position or an inside IR35 contract. The primary responsibilities include supporting relevant programs through project management, definitions, and workstreams throughout the project lifecycle for all deliverables.

Responsbilities of the Switchgear Engineer -

• Collaborate with function owners and integration engineers to develop system specifications that meet current and future requirements.
• Produce and manage supporting design documentation to ensure a robust development process, including Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Verification Plans, Engineering Release, Concern Resolution, and sign-off reports.
• Lead the successful delivery of new and modified switchgear projects from concept to production.
• Oversee day-to-day project delivery management.
• Support vehicle build and launch activities, investigating, containing, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Manage change effectively.
