Head of Information Technology

My client, a value-oriented investment fund managing c.$8bn AUM, is looking for a Head of Technology to join them on a permanent basis. Location: London office, On-site required Salary: Negotiable + Bonus The Head of Technology will: Develop and execute technology strategy aligned with organizational goals Lead and manage a high-performing technology team Oversee technology infrastructure, applications, and data management Ensure cybersecurity and regulatory compliance Drive innovation and research in emerging technologies Manage technology budget and vendor relationships Develop analytics and data warehousing capabilities The Head of Technology will have: Extensive experience in technology and team management Strong knowledge of financial industry trends and innovations A background in investment management/hedge funds/private equity Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working with software development teams Strong financial and vendor management acumen Proficiency in Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, etc.) Understanding of ITIL, digital transformation, and technology governance Knowledge of AI applications in finance Project management and business analysis experience
