Job Role: Principal Process Engineer Location: Haywards Heath Salary: £65,000-£80,000 + Benefits package About the role: Are you an experienced process engineer with a passion for wastewater treatment and biosolids projects? We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead and support multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, design, and delivery of cutting-edge wastewater and biosolids facility upgrades. With over 10+ years of experience, you'll play a critical role in advancing projects from conceptual evaluations to construction and commissioning. Key responsibilities include: Lead project management, process evaluations, and technical assessments. Perform process modelling, design calculations, cost estimates, and prepare detailed design and contract documents. Collaborate on process optimisation, equipment selection, and system integration. Conduct fieldwork, site visits, and provide technical guidance from planning to construction. Communicate clearly both verbally and through technical reports to ensure project success. About you: 10+ years of experience in municipal wastewater treatment and biosolids projects. Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering. Chartered Engineer status.
