About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Brent. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in providing essential support to both students and teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You’ll have the opportunity to lead small group activities, support whole class teaching, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Application Requirements: • Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. • Previous experience working within a primary school setting. • A passion for education and supporting children’s learning. • Ability to plan and lead activities independently. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. • Leading small group activities and interventions across KS1 and KS2. • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays. • Working with students 1:1 and in small groups to boost their confidence and understanding. • Covering classes and managing behaviour in the absence of the teacher.
