The Transport Planner role is centred around coordinating and overseeing efficient transport operations. This position entails implementing effective transport schedules, liaising with team members, and ensuring optimal customer service. Description The Transport Planner duties and responsibilities include Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle. Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and customers. Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments. Resolve any arising problems or complaints. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.Profile A successful Transport Planner should have: Proven track record of working in a similar role within Transport, Logistics or Distribution Strong geographical knowledge Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
