Can you engage our residents? Adullam has opportunities available to join our national award-winning support team in Bury. About the role The main purpose of this role is to find opportunities to engage our residents. Co-production is at the heart of what we do, and the Learning and Engagement Co-ordinator plays a large role in supporting this to happen across Bury. You will provide interventions for our hardest to reach residents and play a large role in promoting Enjoyment and Achievement. Experience in mentoring groups of people would be beneficial as the Learning and Engagement Co-ordinator supervises groups of students, who help to promote Enjoyment and Achievement The role works on a rota to contribute to the staffing of a 24-hours-a-day service. The role is full time of 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8am and 8.30pm weekdays, with an occasional weekend shift (currently one every 3 weeks) to deliver activities and some elements of the service outside of normal working hours. You will be expected to work within the organisations charitable aims and objectives and contribute to the maintenance and development of the Associations values, culture, and ethos. About you We are looking for a Learning and Engagement Co-ordinator with: Experience of providing group and one to one learning and intervention sessions An awareness of issues relating to vulnerable individuals and those that have faced multiple disadvantages; Skills in recognising learning opportunities. Experience of working within safeguarding policies and procedures and of identifying, monitoring, and reporting safeguarding concerns; A flexible, resilient, thoughtful, therapeutic approach to working with people; Some practical skills, such as Art, Baking, Creative Writing or IT would be an advantage, to support service users in our most popular activities. An ability to demonstrate our values and behaviours and work within our Christian ethos. The ability to mentor groups of students (desirable) The ability to produce reports on Co-Production for our Senior Leadership Team. (desirable) Experience in running large scale events. (desirable) Although lived experience is not essential, it is welcomed as part of our workforce. This role is salaried at £24,512.25 dependent on experience and skill set evidenced at interview.
