Rewarding opportunity to join a successful Forensics testing laboratory! Primarily lab-based you will undertake a range of projects, screening for drugs of abuse and alcohol in biological samples using both LC-MS and GC-MS instrumentation. You will be responsible for the entire analytical process, from preparation of samples such as urine and hair, through to analysis using a range of instrumentation, as well as interpretation of analytical data. As a more experienced member of the team, you will also troubleshoot instrumentation and methods as required, as well as provide guidance and direction to the day-to-day delivery of work and projects. The successful candidate must have: * A degree in Chemistry (or closely related) * At least 6 months laboratory experience undertaking LC-MS analyses * Experience troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation * Excellent communication and team working skills Due to the nature of the work undertaken, you must have lived in the UK for the last five years to pass mandatory security clearance screening.
