Here’s what you’ll be doing: ·Edit programs and set up and operate CNC milling machines ·Working with a range of materials including exotic materials, nickel, super alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex and aluminium ·Using a range of measuring equipment and have a working knowledge of inspection procedures in order to undertake self-inspection ·Working as part of the machine shop team and interface with the production support departments including production control, engineering, and maintenance Here’s what you’ll need: ·Experience programming and setting either CNC Milling Machines or Machining Centres ·Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls ·Ideally apprentice trained in machining or a mechanical discipline ·Some experience within aerospace or sub contract precision engineering dealing with manufacturing components from exotic materials.
