Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer - upto £47,000 pa - Preston My client are a large, global business with a requirement within this specialised team, which delivers advanced mission systems engineering capabilities to their customers while developing and evolving future defence technologies. You will be part of the team which uses an agile work planning process to develop mission system concept options, architectures, and designs for the various components of a future combat air system. The successful candidate will lead and support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews in addition to creating Engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process. Knowledge & Experience: A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab) Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge As a System Engineer working for this company you will be earning a basic salary of up to £47,000 and will be entitled to a fantastic range of company benefits.
