The company specializes in advising on transactions across various industries, including industrial manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and more. About the Job The Director of Mergers & Acquisitions will lead the European M&A buy-side advisory services, supporting private equity clients and their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the European M&A market, strong client management skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities Develop and execute M&A acquisition search strategies for the European market. Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms, corporate executives, and business owners. Act as the primary contact for major M&A transactions, ensuring client satisfaction. Lead negotiations and oversee the execution of complex M&A deals. Mentor and manage a high-performing team of M&A professionals. Ensure compliance with European regulatory requirements during transactions. Drive business development efforts to expand our client base across Europe. Qualifications / Skills BS/BA degree from an accredited university. 10+ years of M&A business development experience. Deep knowledge of the European M&A market, including key players and regulatory frameworks. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are highly desirable. Expertise in financial modelling, valuations, and transaction structuring. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Other relevant information Occasional travel across Europe may be required for client meetings and deal execution.
